Corsair software, Corsair hardware - lifetime warranty on the memory at that. I could try to write the easiest step-by-step guide that I can, but the reality is that the software has caused issues at such a low level that you really have to dig into the weeds to resolve it. I had to do a lot of digging to work out how to resolve it, and then even once I have worked it out - it was complicated and a massive pain to do. I touched on the fact in my post that there's no feasible way a regular user would be able to diagnose and fix their system themselves. I did go a bit heavy on the technical details admittedly, I'm hoping someone from Corsair can read it and work the problem up backwards and get it resolved if I described it exactly as I saw it. What will Corsair do now? Even if there is a "fix", how am I to get anywhere near it if there is no display?ĭo I need to re-install windows and let it continually mess with my RAM? Do I put another set of RAM in there and let it mess with that? Corsair, what are you going to do about my PC?Īnyway, any ideas on possible fixes that me - a not so technical person - can try, please let me know. After reading ADAMPOKE111's post (though some of the technical stuff went over my head), I understand this: The update is changing RAM modules, possibly even getting in to the BIOS. My computer is unusable, no display to even get in to the bios or safe mode. I checked the monitor with input from a laptop, checked cables, bypassed my switch, tried different mouse and keyboard - no mouse, no keyboard, no display. There are lights on for RAM, processor, fans are going.
